Recent tour of India to South Africa certainly hurting India’s confidence, after Virat Kohli stepped down from the captaincy India is struggling to get the winning momentum.

One of their major concern is to groom the finisher. Post MS Dhoni retirement, it is believed that Hardik Pandya will take over the role of the former Indian captain. Though he was looking promising for the role, unfortunately his injury giving the headache for the selectors. In the process selectors are in the search for the finisher role still they couldn’t settle with any player for that role.

In the South African tour they tried Venkatesh Iyer for the replacement of Hardik but he failed to make an impact in the given chances, now the selectors are going for other options as well.
