South Africa tour of Sri Lanka

Proteas set to tour Sri Lanka in the month of September 2021 for limited-overs cricket matches, they will play three ODI followed by the three T20I matches.

Earlier South Africa toured for 3 ODI matches and 3 T20I matches, after leveling the ODI series, South Africa managed to clean sweep against Ireland by 3-0.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka played against India in their home. Despite losing the ODI series by 1-2, they made a great comeback in the T20I series to win the series by 2-1.

On Friday Both boards confirmed the fixtures,

“We are delighted to have another tour confirmed for the Proteas men’s team with the ICC T20 World Cup just around the corner,” said CSA Acting CEO, Pholetsi Moseki. “Playing against quality opposition in the subcontinent is the best way for our team to prepare for this event and we are grateful to Sri Lanka Cricket for accommodating us during this time of the year where schedules are highly condensed.

“With an ICC white-ball world event in each year of the next three, game time is golden for every team and we are looking forward to watching our team play as they continue to add to the building blocks of their 2021 T20 World Cup preparation.”

The Series is set to begin on September 2.

ODI Series

1st ODI-September 2,2021.

2nd ODI-September 4, 2021.

3rd ODI-September 7,2021.

T20I Series

1st T20I- September 10, 2021.

2nd T20I-September 12, 2021.

3rd T20I- September 14, 2021.

All the games will be played in Colombo.
