India vs Australia Pink ball test : Smriti Mandhana scored a dazzling century against Australia Women’s Test Team in a pink ball test.

Smriti Mandhana became the first Indian woman to score a test century against Australia. At Carrara Oval in Queensland, India and Australia’s Women’s Test Team are playing a one-off Test match. India, batting first, is in a decent position, having lost 5 wickets for 276 in 101.5 overs before the match was postponed due to poor weather. India had amassed 132 runs on Day 1 for the loss of only one wicket, Shefali Verma, who scored 31 runs. Smriti Mandhana scored 80 runs off 144 balls to remain undefeated.

In Day 2, she added to her overnight score with a short arm pull in the 52nd over off Perry, bringing her total to 100. In Pink Ball Test, Indian Opener becomes the first woman to hit a Test Hundred, and it is her first test century.

“We just had two sessions with pink ball. I was coming from the Hundred (in England) so I didn’t really get much time to play with pink ball, but during Hundred, I just ordered a pink Kookaburra ball, just to keep it in my room because I knew that there is going to be a Test match, so that I can just look at the ball and understand,” said Smriti Mandhana.
