Multan Sultans are taking on Islamabad United in the eight match of the PSL. After winning the toss, Islamabad chose to bowl first, and it was the star T20I batsman Mohammad Rizwan with Shan Masood came to open the innings. After hitting two consecutive half-centuries in the first two matches, Mohammed Rizwan announced himself at the seventh edition of the PSL. But unfortunately, the T20I player from 2021 was dismissed for a duck in his last match.

However, Rizwan has already shown that it is not easy for the opposition to get him out. And today, against Islamabad United, he got out in an unfortunate manner.

With two boundaries, Rizwan was looking good for another big score, but on the fifth ball of the fifth over, he got out in the most unexpected manner.

Mohammad Wasim Jr. tried to bowl a yorker to Shan Masood. The attempted yorker goes wrong, ends up as a juicy full toss, and Masood drives it straight back down the wicket. Wasim Jr. tries to stop it but ends up deflecting it onto the stumps. Rizwan had backed up and didn’t even try to get back in as it happened so fast that he was left stranded outside the crease. He is gutted as he walks back to the pavilion. This was really unfortunate in the case of Rizwan.
