"New Day, New Shit!!!" Fans trolled Daniel Alexander for Comparing the IPL to the PSL

The biggest cricket event of the year is about to start. The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League will start on March 26, when the defending champions, the Chennai Super Kings, will face last year’s finalists, the Kolkata Knight Riders. And this season, two more teams will compete with the former eight franchises.

Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants are the two new teams that will start their campaigns this season. All the teams are preparing in order to pick the right combination ahead of the first match. However, just before the start of the TATA IPL 2022, two of the English openers, Jason Roy and Alex Hales, withdrew from the coming season due to mental health issues and bio-bubble fatigue.

Jason Roy was part of the Gujarat Titans, and Alex Hales was picked by the Kolkata Knight Riders. However, both franchises have announced the replacement of both English openers. Afghan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz will replace Jason Roy for the Gujarat Titans. And KKR has roped in Australian white-ball skipper Aaron Finch in place of Alex Hales.

However, after the withdrawal of both English openers, it gave a chance to one Sri Lankan journalist, Daniel Alexander, to troll the Indian Premier League. And he tried hard to take a dig at the IPL while comparing it to the PSL, as both these English players were part of the recently concluded PSL.

But as a result, it didn’t go well for him this time around, as Indian fans showed him the real difference between the two leagues. Fans brutally trolled him on his tweets. So here we have gathered some of the reactions of the fans.
