The 15th match of IPL 2021 was yet another of that match where runs were scored at free will and bowlers found it really hard to bowl. Du Plessis hit marvelous innings of 95 runs which had 9 boundaries and 4 maximums taking the runs scored by Super Kings to a tad above what Kolkata would have wanted to chase. In this match, we saw some powerful hitting by Karthik, Russell, and Cummins which kind of rekindled the game for Kolkata, but Chennai pulled away from the game and did not let go of this masterful inning of Du Plessis in vain.

Mayank Agrawal 99(58) vs Delhi Capitals

It was the 29th match of IPL 2021, where we saw Mayank Agrawal enter the relatively strange group of people who were stranded on 99 at the end of the innings as he managed to hit a four of the last ball only. This knock had 8 boundaries and 4 maximums and he held the innings from one end while no support was given to him from the other end. This innings as sorrowful as it already was resulted in a losing cause making it much less bearable. In the end, 69 runs scored by Dhawan were sufficient to take away the game from the Kings.

There were talks of Butler blowing hot and cold up until this match where he scored 124 runs and made an already struggling side surrender even before the second innings. In this masterclass innings, he hit 11 boundaries and 8 maximums. Sunrisers made the mistake of bowling out Rashid Khan by 11th over itself, the result of which was that there was no one to control the rising rate of scoring.
