The second T20I between India and Srilanka was postponed due to Indian player Krunal Pandya tested positive on Tuesday.
The match will be played tomorrow, Indian players and Sri Lankan players are in isolation, as eight players were in close contact with Krunal Pandya. if the players test negative in the COVID test, the match will be played on Wednesday.
Earlier India won the first T20I by 38 runs and took the lead in the series. Sri Lanka is desperate to win the second match.
Before Sri Lanka’s batting coach Grant flower and data analyst, G T Niroshan tested positive for COVID after returning from England tour. And the start of the ODI series was postponed as a Sri Lankan player tested positive.
Prithvi Shaw and Surya Kumar Yadv were in close contact with Krunal Pandya, both these cricketers to leave for the England series after completion of Sri Lankan series. Now both are kept in isolation, after the mandatory test only it will be clear about their travel to England.
