After we had the result draw in the first test, we are up against cracking finish in the second test match on Monday.

Trail by 27 runs Indian openers failed to make an impact in the second innings as they did in the first innings. K L Rahul was dismissed for 5 runs and Rohit Sharma yet again lost his wicket tempting short ball. After the dismissal of Virat Kohli (20 runs), India was in big trouble.

Rahane and Pujara Stepped up this time

Veteran players Pujara and Rahane who weren’t up to their mark in the previous innings helped India from that stage by putting 100+ runs partnership.

At the end of the day, India is leading by 154 runs with 4 wickets in hand. England is slightly ahead in this stage. India should score at least 60-80 runs to stay in this game.
