Having an average of above 50 from 103 test matches would make anyone get selected for any team, We are no exception here to not select him in our XI, he is our one of the opener for CSK.

Faf du Plessis

South African cricketer has been playing for CSK for quite a long time, and he won the game for his IPL franchise on many occasions. He is a brilliant player in red-ball cricket, on his debut in the longest format he faced 376 balls in the second to save the test match for his country. He is another opener for all-time CSK’s test XI.

Cheteshwar Pujara

Though he didn’t play for CSK till now, he is the automatic selection for our all-time CSK’s test XI. He is known for the defensive innings in test cricket and played important role in India’s victory in recent years.

Michael Hussey

Without Mr.Cricket, test XI? No way, Hussey was an important player for Dhoni’s men for many years in IPL, he is the perfect candidate for number 4 in CSK’s all-time test XI.

B Mccullum ( Captain and WK)

He led the New Zealand team to the final of the 2015 world cup, he is our captain and wicketkeeper for our team.

Shane Watson

Another Australian player making this list, Shane Watson. Man of the final in the 2018 edition of IPL. He can contribute to the team with bat and ball.

Andrew Flintoff

2005 Ashes winner, regarded as the next Ian Botham. He played for CSK in the 2009 edition. Right arm all-rounder, played just 3 games for CSK in 2009. He is a valuable addition as he can contribute to the team with bat and ball.

Ravichandran Ashwin

One of the finest players produced in Indian cricket, still his wicket tally is going steadily in test cricket. Must have an option for the longest format as he can spin the ball in both direction with his variations.

Muttiah Muralitharan

Legend in Cricket, he is lethal when the pitch is assisting the spinners especially in day 4 and day 5. Sri Lankan spinner having 800 test wickets on his name to cement his name in the all time test XI for CSK.

J Hazlewood

Often compared to former Australian legend Glenn Mcgrath, due to his accuracy. He can give the breakthrough for his team whenever he asked to bowl.

Tim Southee

Swing the new ball or reversing the old ball, no problem for this New Zealander. Fine new ball bowler can damage the any top order with his out swingers.
