It was not an easy entry for Krunal Pandya in international cricket. Being One of the successful all-rounders for Mumbai Indians it took a long time for him To to make it into team India. Initially, it was a good start for his international career. Had few successes with the bat as well as the ball. But things were not looking good for him in this series, To make things worse he was found covid positive and around 8 players were isolated along with him. Even though he missed the last two T20I but his performance in previous matches was not up to the mark. When you have players like R.Jadeja it is never easy to make it into the playing XI without a great performance.
Another young and very talented batsman and a smart athlete on the field. He was one of the best options for no.4 in limited-overs. Playing for team India he has played many great knocks. But the past few years have been a different story for him. Even the Ipl wasn’t that good as it was expected. This series has made things much worse for him. 26,37,11 was his score against an inexperienced Sri Lankan team which can be considered as an average performance by a player of his caliber. In the likes of Players like S Iyer and K.L Rahul, it is going to be a tough time for him to get into the playing 11.

The remaining IPL matches will decide the fate of Shikhar Dhawan for the T20I world cup.
