It all happened when the broadcasters panned the camera at Anushka Sharma during the third ODI between South Africa and India. Chasing the target, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan were batting really well, and Virat brought up his 64th ODI half-century. And he did a “Baby Celebration” pointing towards his wife, Anushka Sharma, who was standing on the balcony.

And with this, the cameraman turned his camera towards Anushka who was standing there holding her daughter Vamika in her arms. Both were clapping and cheering for Virat Kohli. And soon after, Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli’s daughter Vamika’s pics and videos went viral on social media platforms. Virat and Anushka didn’t like it and seemed unhappy about it. Both of them mentioned a note on their Instagram accounts, requesting the fans not to share the picture of Vamika.

Virat and Anushka both wrote a note, “Hi guys! We realise that our daughter’s images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier. Thank you.”

Earlier, Virat was enraged when the media snapped a photo of Vamika ahead of India’s tour of England. Even when the Indian team was in South Africa last month, Kohli asked the cameramen not to take pictures of their daughter.

Fans slams Virat and Anushka

Fans were divided into two sections. Some of them were not happy with the picture going viral and respected the decision of Virat and Anushka for their privacy. But some fans didn’t like it and called Virat and Anushka hypocrites.
