India VS Sri Lanka T20I series:

  • The eight players who were in close contact with Krunal Pandya tested negative for COVID-19, and they will be available for the second T20I(today).
  • The Srilankan player, Bhanuka Rajapaksa ruled out from the series, due to injury. Charith Aslanka is doubtful for the second T20I as he suffering from a hamstring injury.

Initially, it was five-match T20I series. Now after COVID affected the Australian series that CWI reduced one T20I game in the series against Pakistan.

Reacting to that former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq slammed PCB, WI for degrading Pakistan. He told that PCB itself was allowed to get degraded for accepting the proposal of CWI to reduce one match, further he recorded that one match could be reduced in the Australian series instead of reducing one game against Pakistan.
