Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka Bilateral series
The two matches that have been played in the series have gone the way that Bangladesh wanted. The person responsible for that is none other than Mushfiqur Rahim. He has scored 209 runs so far in the series which includes a ton as well. Mushfiqur has also won the Man of the Match award in both matches.
Bangladesh has been comprehensive in both matched and has outplayed their opponents. Sri Lanka on the other hand despite fantastic innings by Hasaranga in the first ODI failed to achieve victory. Mahmudullah had also been in good form for Bangladesh. The bowlers are doing their job well as they have restricted the Sri Lankan team to below par score to achieve victory.

Effect of this Bilateral Series on ODI Team Rankings
As the rankings stand their is a wide gap between the rating of both the teams. The Bangladesh Team may look to increase their ratings. Sri Lanka on the other hand may overtake Proteas if they win the last match but it seems unlikely. Bangladesh Team has outplayed them comprehensively in all the departments. It will be a monumental task for the Sri Lankan Team to win the last match. we reckon that Bangladesh may clean sweep this series.
How does ranking in CWC Super League calculated?
13 teams take part in this CWC Super League. It serves as a means for qualification of the top seven teams. India being the host of the 2023 WC qualifies automatically along with top 7 teams in the list (excluding India). This makes 8 teams. The remaining of the 5 teams will play a qualifier tournament among themselves for the remaining slots.
Each victory gives you 10 points, while a defeat is worth zero points. A tie/ no result/ abandoned match gives you 5 points. This Super League started on 1st May 2020 and will conclude on 31st March 2022.
It maybe harsh but three among South Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and West Indies may end up playing the qualifiers. It is mere speculation going by the latest trends.
