Dewald Brevis, a South African U-19 cricketer, has emerged as one of the best revelations from the ongoing ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup in the West Indies. Brevis has so far scored the most runs in the tournament, with 362 runs scored in four matches at an average of 90.50 and a strike rate of 86.39. Brevis has scored a century and three half-centuries in the tournament, and after seeing his explosive batting style, cricket fans have renamed him the “new” AB de Villiers, the legendary Proteas skipper, batter, and wicket-keeper.
